Description: A Scenic Tour Supported by Smithsonian Content

$79 per person

This tour opened in the summer of 2012 and has been extremely successful largely because it is the only Segway PT Tour to depart from the National Mall -- at the National Museum of American History. In addition to an exceptionally convenient starting point, this tour offers a wonderfully scenic glide, the opportunity to enjoy DC’s rich history, and educational stories only the Smithsonian could tell. During the tour, riders will glide by and explore Smithsonian museums and gardens including the National Museum of American History, National Museum of Natural History, National Air and Space Museum, Smithsonian Castle, Arts and Industries Building, National Museum of the American Indian, National Museum of African Art, Arthur M. Sackler Gallery, Enid A. Haupt Garden, Freer Gallery of Art, Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden and Mary Ripley Garden.

For first hand feedback on the tour, please take a few moments to check out the Smithsonian Tours by Segway TripAdvisor record. ‘Excellent’ reviews have been posted, which has earned the tour a superb rating as well as the #1 ranking in group tours.
